PROJECT DESCRIPTION
GD Complex design is a design for Grace Design by Grace Design. The property is situated opposite the Ba Mission Hospital in Namosau, Ba, Fiji, It is a well-thought-out commercial development.
Breaking down the key elements and their functionality:
OVERALL DESIGN:
The building has a simple, rectangular shape, which is a practical and cost-effective design. The use of large windows and doors allows for ample natural light to enter the interior, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The pitched roof adds a touch of character and helps with rainwater drainage.
KEY ELEMENTS AND FUNCTIONALITY:
• FRESH HOT BAKERY: The large storefront windows and signage clearly identify the bakery, attracting customers. The interior layout likely includes display cases, counters, and preparation areas.
• DAIRY SHOP: Similar to the bakery, the dairy shop has a prominent storefront and signage. The interior would likely include refrigerated display cases for dairy products and other chilled items.
• PARKING: The design includes a parking area, ensuring convenient access for customers and staff.
• LOADING BAY: The loading bay allows for efficient delivery and loading of goods, keeping the front area clear for customer access.
• STAIRS AND RAMP: The stairs and ramp provide access to the upper level of the building, which could be used for storage, offices, or additional retail space.
• ACCESSIBILITY: Ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities is crucial. This could involve ramps, level access, and accessible restrooms.
Overall, the BA Mission Complex design is a functional and practical commercial development that caters to the needs of a bakery and dairy shop. The simple, yet effective design, combined with ample parking and loading facilities, makes it a suitable commercial space.
